This Privacy Policy explains how QR Gen 4U ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. By using the App you agree to this policy.
The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or contacts. We do not sell your data and we do not use third‑party advertising trackers.
The camera is used only on your device to detect QR codes and barcodes in real time. Camera frames are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or any third party.
If you scan a code from an image or save a generated code, the App accesses the selected photo on your device. This processing happens locally; we do not transmit your photos.
Codes you scan or create are stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to our servers. You can delete this history at any time in Settings → Delete History, and it is removed entirely when you uninstall the App.
Purchases of optional premium subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use Adapty to manage subscriptions and measure performance. For this purpose Adapty may process a device‑generated identifier and transaction information (such as product purchased, price, and subscription status). We do not receive your Apple ID or payment card details.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Local data (history, settings) remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Subscription records held by Apple and Adapty are retained according to their respective policies.
You can revoke camera or photo access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy, clear local history in‑app, and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
